Although I do many
different styles of bears, bunnies, cats and rabbits and am
happy to work with you to create just what you want and need, I do
most often recommend what I call my “traditional” style
bear as it is well suited to all types of furs. These bears are
fully-jointed and make lovely family bears.
I am also able to
make eight to ten inch baby bears from certain furs. These
babies are string-jointed using a high grade of commercial thread and
are very heavy and designed to cuddle in your hands. They have all
the detail of the larger bears including the hand-painted glass eyes
and are great when you want a bear but don’t have a lot of fur
to work with--or if you just happen to prefer babies!
I can also make baby
bunnies. These are a simple design and have high-grade plastic
eyes rather than glass. These are ideal if you are on a budget and
need several.
I can also make
bears and bunnies from other memory items such as bathrobes, shirts,
etc. Plush coats are also another option. They will run less than
natural furs but higher than fabrics.
I also make cats
and rabbits from your furs. My cats are definitely of the alley
cat variety. The rabbits can be made with a single fur but are much
more dramatic with two furs. Fair warning--it takes a lot of fox to
make a rabbit so unless you have quite a bit, it won’t work as
I’m unable to supply it for you.
